Green Tea As A Home Remedy

In this day and age, everyone is looking for safer and cheaper remedies to their aliments. For the most part we all want results that are more than mediocre at a price that is acceptable. So, how can green tea be used as a home remedy to help you in being healthy?

 

For many years researchers and scientists have been studying diseases and seeking new ways to prevent them as well as treat them without causing ill side effects. Some of the home remedies for common illnesses can range from corn syrup for nausea to brown sugar for eliminating heart burn.

Although there has been multiple home remedies that have been proven to work wonders on different heath related issues, none seem to compare to the benefits of green tea as a home remedy.

Green tea is much more than just a delightful beverage. Many individuals will argue on behalf of green tea being a miracle beverage. The health benefits that have been linked to drinking green tea on a regular basis seem to be all the proof that is needed to persuade those that previously were not believers.

Here is a little more information on some of the several benefits of adding green tea to your diet. Using green tea as a means of an alternative to expensive remedies without having the possibility of serious and long term ill health related effects.

It is believed by many that green tea can assist in changing the odors within the mouth. Green tea is thought to have an agent that can help eliminate odor causing bacteria. In turn this can also minimize cavities and plaque buildup. Green tea is also popular as a mouthwash because it seems to have agents that can strengthen the teeth and keep the gums healthy. Making your family, friends and co workers much happier to talk to you!

Many people suffer from troublesome skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and even acne. Green tea is an excellent astringent that can help in riding the face of acne. If you combine drinking a cup of green tea and using it as an astringent you will surely see results that will satisfy you. Consider making your own concoction of green tea and olive oil to rid yourself of that itchy eczema.

There is a lot of information available about the benefits green tea has on the human body, other that as home remedies. Green tea seems to work as a great deterrent against many of the easier infections the body can be overwhelmed with. The antioxidants are greatly increased within the body, which can limit wrinkles as you age as well a keep your overall immune system in great shape.
